Splash 2010

Could you take part in a sponsored swim to raise funds for Family Care?

Participants swim a maximum of 20 lengths. The event will take place on 10th July 2010 at Bramcote Leisure Centre between 6.30 and 8pm.

Splash 10 is organised by Hemlockstone Lions, who pay for the hire of the pool and have volunteers who count the number of completed lengths. This is fantastic, as all the money raised by Family Care’s swimmers comes to Family Care. Maybe your family or swimming club could take part?

If you would like to take part please either contact Chris Burton on 0115 960 3010, e-mail fundraising@familycare-nottingham.org.uk or download the Swim 2010 sponsor form.

Project 40

In 2007 we were delighted when Katie a supporter and service user, developed the idea of Project 40, a fundraising appeal for 40 people to commit to raise £1,000 each (a star) for Family Care. As a small agency which is successful in securing time-limited funding from partners such as Children in Need, The Big Lottery and Macmillan Cancer Support, our challenge is always to meet the continued demand for a service, both during, and when this sort of funding finishes. Thanks to the contributions of everyone who took part in Project 40 the appeal has raised £50,137. On behalf of the staff, volunteers and service users at Family Care we would like to acknowledge this fantastic achievement.Thank you.
