Christmas Toys Campaign 2009

This campaign provides vulnerable children and young people with toys and gifts at Christmas time. We can do this thanks to the donations from parishes and support with sorting and distributing the toys. Last year provided toys for over 1000 children.  We have once again very kindly been offered St John’s Church, Bilborough for our base.

The dates for Christmas Toys to be delivered to the church are December 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 9.30 to 1pmClick here to see map of venue

Project 40

In 2007 we were delighted when Katie a supporter and service user, developed the idea of Project 40, a fundraising appeal for 40 people to commit to raise £1,000 each (a star) for Family Care. As a small agency which is successful in securing time-limited funding from partners such as Children in Need, The Big Lottery and Macmillan Cancer Support, our challenge is always to meet the continued demand for a service, both during, and when this sort of funding finishes. Thanks to the contributions of everyone who took part in Project 40 the appeal has raised £50,137. On behalf of the staff, volunteers and service users at Family Care we would like to acknowledge this fantastic achievement.Thank you.
