"Let it Out, Little Voices heard"...

...is a collection of work by children and young people that we have supported through family change such as bereavement, domestic violence and parental divorce and separation. It includes poems, stories, pictures, words and visual images which capture the personal, inspiring, and at times troubling feelings children have about their lives.

In addition to gathering material from children in their individual sessions, we also wanted to bring groups of children together who had experienced similar situations in creative workshops facilitated by local artists. The Arts Council agreed funding for this exciting project in December 2005. We also approached schools with whom we have good working relationships and invited pupils to contribute work done in their own time, some of which is also represented in the book.

This is a useful resource for children and young people, families, and practitioners.
