Our Annual Review for 2016-17 is now available. (more…)
It is with deep regret that we announce that our Spiral Bereavement Service will close from 31st December 2017.
Following the loss of significant funding for Spiral last year the service has mainly been funded from the charity’s reserves. We hoped that this could continue whilst we secured alternative funding for this much needed service. Unfortunately this has not happened and Trustees have had to make the difficult decision to close the Spiral Service.
Our priority as we prepare for the ending of Spiral is to support the children and families that are currently engaged with the service, offering as positive an ending to the work as possible. To enable us to focus on this we are no longer taking new referrals for bereavement support (including telephone advice and consultations).
We are working to provide a list of alternative agencies who can provide bereavement support and we will update this webpage to include a link to these.
